Im not very good at journal writting, but oh well, this is a try
Here are some info for the interested:

Fractal Hextiles
I have coded a little fractal program for creating seamless hexagonal backgrounds, its on my web page: Fractal Hextiles
For those curious people who want to see how they look, here is a Random Background web page. Just hit reload and the background will change everytime. Soon there will be another program too, one that produce an infinite amount of 3D fractal snowflakes.

Prints
Almost a year have passed since I have posted my first prints, and nobody likes them :crying:. At the end, I noticed that the default prices are very high, so I have lowered them as much as possible (so low that if theres any sell, I only earn 10$ or 6€..enouch for buying a coffe cup with cookies)

Incendia
Soon I will post some screenshots of how it looks (my poor neurons are burned thanks to a 3D editor). I'm almost broke, but Incendia is almost over, so I have put all my hopes on it. (If all fails, does anyone know where a 3d fractal programmer can find a job?)

Is it possible to get a hold of some of the mseshed fractals for me to use? (I want to do an unbiased run). If thats ok. I'll credit you for the fractals... How many tris anyway?

How did you convert them too?

I have meshed 3D fractals,
and in some cases, (like the fractal fern, for example), the resultant mesh is pretty good and the triangle count is pretty small, but for more complex fractals, like the menger sponge, the meshes are, well..3GB
It appears that the fractal dimension is the key for determining file sizes.

As for the fractal types, escapetime (or continous potential) fractals appears to be the most suitable for meshing.
mostly because the mesh is by far more accurate than the ifs ones..

it's a bad idea, you're basically fighting an unbeatable force: fractals need detail, but you can't preserve fractal detail on a grid, of any resolution. so it is a constant and depressing battle of resolution vs quality vs speed.

the next problem is that i don't think any such tools for it exist, and even if they do, where are all the good 3d fractals?! almost no one makes them, that's why we're both here on *Aexion's page ;)

No me digas como he llegado hasta tu pagina pero vi la galeria y casi me caigo de culo... impresionante... no solo haces unos fractales salvajes sino que encima usando tus propios programas. Esto si que es arte fractal, en serio, me quito el sombrero :worship:
